Austin in the 90s did not do quiet. Guitar riffs bled out of club doors and into the street, flyers hung three deep on every pole, and punks, goths, and beautiful freaks all crowded under the same neon, trading tapes and eyeliner tips. If you came up there, you learned early that loud was a language and strange was a credential.
Then came 2020, the height of the quiet luxury era. Fashion whispered in oatmeal. Rooms went gallery white. An entire generation was politely informed that good taste meant disappearing. Somewhere between the beige sweaters and the beige walls, one kid from those Austin clubs decided she had heard enough silence.
Honey Dazed was born that year, out of spite and glitter, to bring the noise back.

Honey Dazed is the work of Jacqy Law, an artist and designer who came up in Austin’s punk, alternative, and goth scenes of the 90s, back when finding your people meant finding the right show. That upbringing never wore off. Decades later it became a femme-led, minority-owned universe of apparel, home goods, and small loud objects. Every design drawn in-house, every piece made to order, all of it for people who dare to be entirely themselves.
